    The Viareggio Recital

    Bartoli in recital with works by Bach (Prelude, Fugue and Allegro BWV 998), Puccini (complete piano music) and Liszt (Deux Légendes, Grosses Konzersolo). Entrance free. In collaboration with Steingraeber & Sohne, Fondazione Festival Pucciniano and Comune di Viareggio.

    Steingraeber Tour: Liszt in Pisa

    To commemorate history’s first piano recital, given by Liszt in Pisa at the dawn of 1839, Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays the Hungarian maestro’s music in the magnificent San Zeno abbey. The programme includes Les jeux d’eau à la Villa d’Este, Deux Légendes, Three HUngarian Rhapsodies and Grosses Konzertsolo. Mr Bartoli plays on the unique Steingraeber piano. Free admission until capacity.

    Puccini Recital

    Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays David Plylar’s Fantasy-Paraphrase on Giacomo Puccini’s Il Tabarro as well as his own Scherzo on Gianni Schicchi and transcriptions of the Intermezzo from Suor Angelica.
