    Puccini for Puccini's Birthday


    Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays Giacomo Puccini’s complete piano music during the celebrations for the Maestro’s anniversary. Further dateils to follow.


    CONCERTO DEGLI AUGURI


    Academia de’ Concerti’s annual “Concerto degli Auguri” takes place at the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini on December 19th. Highlights include violinist Marco Fornaciari’s rendition of Paganini’s Variations on Rossini’s Mosè, and a rare performance of Cherubini’s spectacular Second Quartet in C major. Bartoli will contribute to the programme with Donizetti-Leschetizky’s Andante finale from Lucia di Lammermoor for the left hand alone and with Luigi Boccherini’s Piano Quintet Op.57 No.6, “La ritirata notturna di Madrid”.

    Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays the Franciscan Works of Franz Liszt at Modena’s Teatro Alberione.


    Teatro Mariani Sant'Agata Feltria


    Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays in the wonderful Teatro Mariani, originally built in 1605 and later expanded to today’s size. Made entirely of local wood, it has wonderful acoustics. Programme:
