Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays in the wonderful Teatro Mariani, originally built in 1605 and later expanded to today’s size. Made entirely of local wood, it has wonderful acoustics. Programme:
Liszt: Les Jeux d’eau à la villa d’Este; Deux Légendes: St. Francois d’Assise la Prèdication aux oiseaux, St. Francois de Paule marchand sur les flots.
Donizetti-Leschetizky: Andante finale from Lucia di Lammermoor Op.13 for the left hand alone.
Tchajkovskij-Pabst: Concert Paraphrase on the opera Eugene Onegin Op.81a.
